Paris, the city of love. Or so they call it.
I spent 4 days there recently with my brothers and decided to do a few moving pictures to represent some of the stuff I saw there.
One of the most striking things for me was the beggars. Now I come from a city full of beggars. At every robot there are men and women who's entire possessional value is worth less than a single tyre of the car belonging to the people they are begging for money from, but for some reason the beggars in Paris still stuck out to me.
Maybe it's because there were so few of them, or maybe it's because they were begging in areas that had restaurants that sold a portion of caviar for 205 Euros. That's R2798.43 for a starter smaller than a packet of chips. Or maybe it was the way people simply ignored them, passing them by as if they were just a part of the scenery, which I suppose they were.
Anyway, here are some moving pictures. Let me know what you think.
