So Last night I taught a work shot for an awesome initiative called Night Owls. Basically it's a collective of people, Gareth Steele, Batya Raff Smadja and Abrie Coertze, that decided to regularly organize a gathering of creative minds to swap skills and learning. Their skill-swap events provide a platform for people to either learn or teach a new skill.
How awesome is that?
I was lucky enough to be teaching my 'really simple, really effective things you can do to make your photos much much nicer' workshop to a really cool bunch of folks.
My goal was to get a photo of every single person laughing their true laugh, pulling the face they pull when they're having a good time, the one their friends and family love to see because they only see that particular face when they're having a good time together.
If you can feel your cheeks lift while you scroll through these pics then my mission was accomplished, I know I can't help but smile when I see all these faces smiling back at me from my screen.
There's also a sneaky pic of me at the bottom - thanks Dirk.
Enjoy the pics :)
